- Associate of Science (Mechanical Engineering)
- Associate of Science (Electrical Engineering)
- Associate of Science (Petroleum Engineering)
- Associate of Science (Applied and Exploration Geology)
- Associate of Science (Architecture and Building Technology)
- The G.T.E.E. Technician Certificate in Building and Civil Construction Parts 1 and 2, or equivalent, provided that the equivalent programme includes the subject area, Mathematics, English Language, and Physics.
- Mature student (i.e. a minimum of 21 years in the calendar year in which entry is being sought) who do not meet any of the admission requirements will be required to write the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE) and pass to be considered for admission.
- Any application based on any other certificate(s), obtained locally or internationally, will be reviewed by the DCE through an Academic Advisor or the Head of Department (HOD) to determine if conditions mentioned above are met.
- Applicants with passes in at least five (5) subject areas of a recognized CSEC-equivalent programme. The five subjects must include Mathematics, English Language and Physics.
