Admissions
Entry requirements
Review the current admission requirements associated with this programme.
- UG Diploma in Technology (Architecture & Building), with no less than a 2.0 GPA and no less that “C” grade in ARH 2205- Architecture Design & Practice II (or equivalent). Students desirous of entering the BSc. Architecture who have obtained less than “C” grade is ARH 2205, will be given the option to re-do the course to obtain the minimum required grade.
- Associate of Science Architectural and Building Technology (or equivalent), with no less than a 2.0 GPA and no less that “C” grade in ARH 2205- Architecture Design & Practice II (or equivalent). Students desirous of entering the BSc. Architecture who have obtained less than “C” grade is ARH 2205, will be given the option to re-do the course to obtain the minimum required grade.
- Other relevant Technical Qualifications:- Any other applicants who possess technical qualifications from other tertiary institutions regionally or internationally are: (a) Required to submit a certificated transcript along with a portfolio consisting of no less than five (5) and no more than ten (10) examples of the applicant’s artwork and/or design work. The portfolio must include Architectural drawings, paintings, sculpture, photography, graphics, films, or any other work in visual design. Letters of verification confirming that the work in the portfolio is the applicant’s own work must accompany the portfolio. (b) All candidates may be required to attend a face-to-face interview (or virtually) to assess their ability and suitability to benefit from the programme. The interview will also allow students to express their interests and expectations of the programme.
