Admissions

Entry requirements

Review the current admission requirements associated with this programme.

  1. A minimum of 2 subjects at CAPE (Units I and II) Grades I, II or III, or GCE ‘A’ level Grades A, B or C, which must include Chemistry and one other subject, preferably Biology, Mathematics or Physics.
  2. The University of Guyana Pharmacy Technician Diploma.
  3. Completion of the first year in the BSc in Biology or Chemistry in the Faculty of Natural Sciences with a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
  4. A Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree in Life Science from the University of Guyana or any other approved institution of higher learning.
  5. Other appropriate levels of study in a recognized educational institution.
  6. The Diploma in Pharmacy or Associate of Science (Pharmacy) from the University of Guyana or a recognised University.
  7. Any qualification considered equivalent to the above.
