Admissions

Entry requirements

Review the current admission requirements associated with this programme.

  1. A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0, or above in Business Studies, or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in Business related Studies, (for example, Economics, and Accounts) from a recognized and accredited institution. Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying. Plus C: Applicants must be teaching the subject at the secondary level and must provide a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  2. A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0, or above in English, or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in English from a recognized and accredited institution. Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying. Plus C: Applicants must be teaching the subject at the secondary level and must provide a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  3. A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0, or above in Mathematics, or an equivalent degree with mathematics content of 50% or more in Mathematics related courses from a recognized and accredited institution. Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying. Plus C: Applicants must be teaching the subject at the secondary level and must provide a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  4. A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0, or above in a foreign language, or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in language from a recognized and accredited institution. Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying. Plus C: Applicants must be teaching the subject at the secondary level and must provide a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  5. A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0, or above in Geography, History, Sociology or Political Science, or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in Geography, History, Sociology, or Political Science from a recognized and accredited institution. Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying. Plus C: Applicants must be teaching the subject at the secondary level and must provide a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  6. A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0, or above in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agriculture Science, or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture Science, from a recognized and accredited institution. Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying. Plus C: Applicants must be teaching the subject at the secondary level and must provide a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  7. Business Studies: A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0 or above in Business Studies, or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in Business related Studies, (for example, Economics and Accounts) from a recognised and accredited institution; Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying; Plus C: a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  8. English Language: A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0 or above in English, or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in English, from a recognized and accredited institution; Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying; Plus C: a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  9. Mathematics: A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0 or above in Mathematics, or an equivalent degree with mathematics content of 50% or more in Mathematics related courses, from a recognized and accredited institution; Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying; Plus C: a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
  10. Modern Language: A: At least a first or higher degree with GPA of 2.0 or above in a foreign language or an equivalent degree with content of 50% or more in the language, from a recognized and accredited institution; Plus B: copy of appointment letter from the Employment Body that verifies the applicant has been appointed to teach the subject for which he/she is applying; Plus C: a teaching timetable to meet practicum requirements of a minimum of twelve (12) hours weekly, in the subject area for which he/she is applying.
